Good stats..... whatever you say our wardens are not in a position to listen

I have a doubt abt the number of computers switched on at a time...people leave their pc without turning off .... so I think only in OBH it will be 300 (consider the double rooms :( )

hope atleast this makes people to switch off their computers when they dont use their pc for more than an hour.

an average OBH student has 3 hours of classes (4th, 3rd, mtech etc etc) and sleeps, say, 5 hours a day ... so total of 8 hours a day can be saved by a student in OBH (going with ur calculation )

so 8*200(students)*200*30 = 9600 kwh per month

i.e around 66 thousand bucks a month that we can save (all this assuming 200 students)

am i wrong??
